A large pothole has opened up on the A12 causing damage to motorists' vehicles. The pothole, which is on the southbound carriageway of the Witham bypass, is thought to be roughly a metre across and a metre wide- big enough for the wheel of a car.A motorist reported that there were at least three cars in the lay by down the road that were damaged. The Chronicle has approached Highways England for an update. More to follow.
