Two fire crews from Braintree were rushed to put out a blaze in a house in Shakespeare Close yesterday afternoon (September 14.The terraced house was heavily smoke logged when firefighters arrived at about 3.30pm.Crews wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel to extinguish the fire by 4.40pm.Firefighters used a thermal image camera to check for any remaining hotspots.The incident came just a few hours after one fire crew from Braintree and another from Halstead were called to a bedroom...
