A 48-year-old man who was shot by Essex Police in Great Dunmow on Tuesday remains in hospital this evening. The man, who was allegedly carrying two firearms at the time, suffered leg injuries in the incident and was later arrested on the evening of September 1 leaving residents of the town shocked and bemused.
